Annual Holiday Entitlement Increase - 1st October 2007

Changes to annual holiday entitlement will take effect from 1st October 2007. The increase will be introduced in two phases:

from 1st October 2007 you will be entitled to 4.8 weeks holiday including bank and public holidays (24 days if you work a 5 day week.)

from 1st April 2009 you will be entitled to 5.6 weeks holiday including bank and public holidays (28 days if you work a 5 day week.)

For those working part-time, the amount of holidays will be worked out pro-rata.
